twenty plus twelve

this is how a friend, with whom i was eating lunch the day before my birthday, stated my age. i still haven’t figured out if this is a positive or negative spin on my age. at any rate, the birthday has come and gone for another year, and i was blessed to spend it with family and friends.

as for the actual number, i’ll just keep in mind that a teen center kid thought i was only twenty plus five.
