Sweden: Day seven

Our much-needed down day after four days on the road. We did laundry in the morning and walked into downtown Årsta for lunch and to pick up some food for dinner that night and breakfast the next morning. It was a good day for relaxing mostly indoors, as it was chilly and rained on and off.

I took two photos.

Back at the apartment, we watched a couple of movies on DVD as we lounged on the couch. The first, Something the Lord Made, was a dramatization of the very first heart surgeons, Alfred Blalock and Vivien Thomas, and their extraordinary partnership. It is well worth watching, especially if you are a fan of Alan Rickman or Mos Def. The other was Groundhog Day, which we watched while eating macaroni and cheese with korv cut up into it. Just like home!
