first day

today is isaak’s first day of kindergarten. in fact, he has been there for a few hours already. when i talked to him on the phone sunday afternoon, i asked him if he was excited and he said, “no, i’m nervous.” i told him that it was certainly okay to feel nervous, but that i was sure he was going to have a good time. his buddy from across the street, logan, is in his class, and they can walk to school together (with their mommies, of course). in addition, he has already met his teacher and knows he likes her, so that will help.
