to sweat or not to sweat?

that is, most certainly, the question.

my cousin emily offered me a ticket to the cubs game tonight, and i was all gung-ho to go. i haven’t been to a game since last season when i went with her, and we had such fun. i know that, taking into consideration the company and the event, it would be a great night. but then i realized that, at 7:05 pm tonight, when the game starts, the temperature will be 97 degrees with a heat index of 103 (right now the heat index is 108). i left a message for her, asking her if she’d be disappointed if i opted out and inviting her to watch the game in the comfort of my air-conditioned apartment. i have yet to hear back . . .
