not bad for the first ten days

the church is reserved!
the church organist—who is a-MAY-zing—is available and has us on her calendar.
the reception hall is reserved.
the restaurant at which we became engaged is available for our rehearsal dinner.
the guest list is growing.
the date is definitely set: june nine, two-thousand seven!

hoorayyyy! so exciting, and isn't it a breath of relief to know that you've already got some major hurdles down? you'll be coasting from here! ;)

Is Sharon the organist? If so, I agree that she is A-MAY-zing!!! I still cry every time I watch our wedding video and listen to the postlude!

yes, indeed, she is!

what did you have her play for your postlude?

I just copied this information from our bulletin. The recessional music is what always makes me cry. I highly recommend it! Sharon says it is a signature piece that she likes to play.

RECESSIONAL
SYMPHONY NO. 5, OP. 42, V TOCCATA - CHARLES MARIE WIDOR

POSTLUDE
WATER MUSIC - G.F. HANDEL
I ALLEGRO VIVACE - III HORNPIPE
VI ALLEGRO MAESTOSO - G.F. HANDEL

that's the recessional we want, too, kj! funny.

thanks for the postlude ideas. we haven't decided on that yet.
